Hundreds of wine and gourmet enthusiasts, socialites, and community leaders gathered at the Broward County Convention Center to help raise funds to end childhood hunger through Share Our Strength's 16th annual Taste of the Nation event on June 11. More than 50 restaurants participated in the fund-raiser, including Abokado and Chef Allen's. The convention center was filled will a variety of delectable dishes for sampling, including slow-braised beef ribs from the Capital Grille, a vast oyster raw bar-displayed in a small wooden boat-courtesy of Legal Sea Foods, and jasmine-tea-scented duck confit from Café Maxx.
